Settling In

Out of 18 month hibernation today
Didn't use it last year and was thinking of selling but charged up the battery and she fired up pretty much straight away.Think I'm going to keep and use her.It's no minter by ant means but a pretty much original clipper

If you sold it you'd only regret it! Keep it and enjoy using it!
Can't wait to get mine back off SORN… even though it's only just gone on to do some work!!!

did u have any problems with it ? or was it just to charge the battery? coz mines being stored till december while i do work on it just wondered how it ran

Car has done just 152K
but been garaged for winter by me and previous owner
I bought it about 6 years ago from a guy in Portsmouth who used to carry his windsufer strapped to the top and the interior was a bit spotty. Just took it out and used a pressure washer and some Vanish and it came up well. The paint probably looks better in the photos than it is and has a few blemishes but a long time ago I had a Beetle completely resprayed and used to go nuts at every stonechip. At least i can just drive this without worry.
I think I want some BBS wheels for her.
No issues with storage this time but a previous 12 month lay up needed a carb strip as it was all gummed up and a couple of bulbs needed their contacts sanding.
