Deins Black Mk1er

Hello,

Been obsessed with Mkl1 golfs for about six years now.  First joined the forum in 2004.  I am on my second mk1 gti which I have been driving for about two years but after the mother in law reversed into the passenger door I thought it was a bout time to start pulling trim off, find rust, learn to weld and fabricate and try and restore the car.

Here is a pick of the old boy (never done this before so I hope it works)

Looks nice and shiny in the winter sun but hiding rust in most of the usual Mk1 places.

Thanks richievr,

Originality is the name of the game for me.  But its also about living the mk1 dream on a daily basis.  You wont find show and shine here.

The picture is before the incident with the back of a Proton.  I've been working on the rear seat belt mount area and will be posting some pics of the work so far, because I need advise.

Thanks again for the imnage help.
