Nobody spotted me :-(

Drove my mk1 to Camberley and back from Kent yesterday. Didn't see another mk1 or mk2 on the road in all that time. It's all mk4s and mk5s nowadays!

See had I known, I would have got mine out the garage especially and done a few trips up and down the M2 / M20 just in anticipation of spotting you

I was in Camberley yesterday, just not in mk1 unfortunatley! Did you go along the A30? Thats quite a nice drive providing there's no traffic!

Hi Drew, where about in Kent are you from? i live in Maidstone and havent seen that many MK1's!!  :cry:

Lets hope so, now I've got mine back on the road I'm dying to meet more people in my area that share my interest! I live in Sittingbourne myself.

Where abouts in Sittingbourne are you?  I live on the Isle of Sheppey for all of my sins!

I live just near the highstreet, about 3 mins walk from weatherspoons I work on the island, at cheyne middle school, although just about to change jobs in 1 week and 2 days

What car do you drive, I see a few mk1s around on my way to and from work, mainly cabs though, have posted in the 'was it you' section before. I don't drive my mk1 to and from work, so you probably won't spot me.

I'm the ICT network manager for the school, but just about to change to a simelar position in another school, more money etc. etc. I've been following your thread on here with a lot of interest, haven't seen you driving around in it yet, but I only go to and from work, don't spend any time on the island. Currently driving a red 'H' plate mk2 driver everyday so wave if you see me!!
