Black GTI, Crosshills, North Yorks today 7/11/09

I spotted this as I was leaving work (White Rose Volkswagen) at about 12.30 today, it was heading in the direction of the level crossing at Crosshills near Skipton, North Yorkshire.

It looked lovely!

I didn't get any of the reg as I only saw it briefly from the front, it looked well sweet and clean.

Is it anyone's on here?

yes that would be me dieseldubber. just been out for my saturday run. were you in yours allsorts?  i have had quite a few bits from white rose and get my van serviced there but never seen a mk1 around. your parts man never mentioned that someone with a mk1 worked there! what do you do there?

I used to work here about 4 year ago in parts and then moved over to Halifax VW or Lightcliffe as it was more commonly known then and worked at their TPS site.

I've been back here now since the begining of September and I work on the service front desk.
