Rubber fuel hoses

Settling In

I replaced mine about 18 months ago with some Topran 73379 and after smelling petrol in the car I've found they're starting to perish already!
Any advice will be much appreciated as usual!

Thats exactly what I was thinking, it must be something to do with the additives in fuel now. Some reading in to it (Fuel Hose Selection, Pipe Grading (Why R9), Connections & Clipping) and it sounds like R9 fuel hose is the way to go?
