K-jet numbers help?

Post

Can anyone help me with the correct part numbers for my k-jet unit and metering head. When I brought the car it has a fuelling issue is some kind and I'm just trying to find out if the second hand/replacement parts that have been used to try and fix the problem are not causing more issues cause there the wrong parts. When I brought the car it came with 2 spare k-jet tops and a spare metering head, however none of the part numbers are the same on any of them. I was wondering if maybe they are off a 1.6 engine or even maybe a mk2 golf. My car is an 1983 1.8 Gti dx engine no. Can anyone offer some advice??

Do you mean the fuel distribution unit? Where all the pipes come from?
Its unlikely to make any difference if you have a mk1 or 2 unit. If you have issues there is a fault more likely than it being off a 1.6 or mk2.

Sorry, please excuse my newbie description lol. These are the parts I'm unsure of, these are the spare ones that came with the car, the ones on the car have different part numbers.  image.jpeg image.jpeg
