Am i missing something?

I've had the car for years now, when i first brought it it had some terrible custom/bodge job exhaust on it, and I've since fitted a standard system.

However, at the rear of the car I don't seem to have anywhere to connect the rear hanger to? im assuming there should be a mount under the car? could anyone confirm?

looks like your bracket has sheared off, look just under the bracket its cable tied to at the 2 rough holes and bit of random plate welded to the shell. I recon thats where it used to be.

find a mk2 golf in the scrappy, the rear bracket unbolts then offer it up see if its anywhere close. if it is have it welded in, or do similar to mk2 and have a plate with bolt in it welded on so the mk2 bracket bolts on

if no mk2s just shop around till you find something similar.

the mk1 bracket is 171803521, mk2 is 191253311
