What LEDs?

I've done the interior, but what are people using for the indicators and rear cluster? I was planning on keeping the headlights halogen unless someone can convince me otherwise.

which ever way you choose, just relay them you will get brighter light.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

LED headlight bulbs are amazing.

I uprated and relayed the headlight loom on Mynx when I redid the wiring loom and the standard OSRAM nightbreakers were good. When I swapped to LED's I was amazed at the difference. So much so that I know have to lead our convoys at night.

I bought these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NIGHTEYE-H4-9003-HB2-LED-Headlight-Bulb-Light-Hi-Lo-Beam-Kit-6500K-HID-White-2Pc/152959582523?epid=27029952117&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item239d1a013b:g:PwgAAOSwTaxdFsBC&enc=AQAFAAACYBaobrjLl8XobRIiIML1V4Imu%2Fn%2BzU5L90Z278x5ickkxGz2ccqatkEnoeekHqhLkTi%2BcDiuBv%2Fbfk%2FXvzdes%2Fd12Wpex%2Bxk0%2FgxI%2FVlG3B8W3xb5WuYsW%2BkgbK%2B0xrfSVuaostZNM3Nk2r0WhpTfWlwXWNxj8VGWmZ3m%2BzmWR2QsoGbS9UICgxjH9O6vpITI4DKWsLnmMzWaFM2Kx5K4INPJ54KrN8x3qFGLFY0FJT3VvV9kus7DChPm%2F9FIgF6ux8V09if8XdkuwoBqWDbPn%2FFlmf5He%2BgLDJ%2FPeaGfkm%2BO4yqkIA94i5F176VonKd3%2FSkiO8VbnKY7tb%2Bh94M1JMsMSxO024pPAJL7TJjjhi%2BE0fCil%2BDO2xBjQNuVrx5NESOl%2FAWNwIkugXrvCrkruGDAhW5VaacFNaVYEVh4op0pKiPuHKJHbG%2Bg8lJB8MN0tzzWbhV4xnyEwdxsKAHuZIKUvZFb%2F0la8pvoMMu0cpi7vw%2BtPwsT3L%2FYVg1L3GxinMbU3dZU%2Fh7g6rzk2wcIo3ucPwvz42BvKPdqlgV0rYXCswszq1SAEOrlEtgJ96MFFtFhMN%2BpRofuU%2FLTGQrkzbhHRTWRpm8FdwssN9GXsB51q%2BDt46hEbN%2BrF1CrIwsW4b0ZukT8%2BI5bfAodiRoh4%2FvOYuHt%2Brrx6ZydWj4Os6lvczhtrJvLexHbnjK33ZmG6ucPFMrvutBpqICHdW5cClmEdINHm0ib9JZjsLHDbmWBLh7OUMg9t3JzFsooI8NIqUXY1nQAB8ucIrP6fosxIHSzxMvjztUVwgcvKmUN5JN&checksum=1529595825234dc56dc0e33348699d17a779909a9bf3

As for the rears I did those as well.

It's a bit of a pain as the some of the bulbs hit the inside of the tail lamp and so when trying to insert the bulb tray some won't fit. I also broke a couple as they were quite flimsy at the base.

I would list what I bought but I can't for the life of me remember which ones worked and which didn't. If I were to do it again I think I'd go down the local motorfactors and see if they can help.
Alternatively just buy some and try them. They're not too expensive to try.

It it doable but a bit of a pain to sort out the right fitment and sizing.

When you say interior, does that include the dash? If so, what did you use? Save me buying the wrong ones..

Most of the dash issues are because on the newer cabriolets (83 and up) wen they changed the gauges the inserted a green film.  Over the years this green fil gets cloudy dusty….So a new bulb gets the same effect even LEDS.  You have to remove the cover off the lights and remove that Green film is you ever want brighter cluster lights…

Oh and on the other hand since the Light switches roller is for incandescent bulbs it isn't rightly gradient enough got LED's so if you want to dim them, you go from full bright to weak then off….not a lot of graduation in the control..

Using standard bulb sockets off of a Toyota, Isuzu, or the like, you can then up the wattage of the incandescents from 2 watts to 4 by looking up a 85 toyota, and choosing the Warning Lamp instead of the Illumination lamp..

That's interesting. On mine the incandescents went from almost invisible to completely invisible.
With the LEDs it goes from ridiculously bright to really really bright.

For the instruments look for "B8.3D" on eBay or Amazon. I used these:

The bulbs come out of the holders if you want to solder them into switches. They are a little large for the secondary bulb in the switches though. In the cluster, the green ones are much brighter than the white ones (because of the filter I guess) so that might be the way to go for something less blinding.

I'll take a look at the Nighteyes, but I really want something a bit warmer. 6500K is a bit blue for my taste.
