OCD is driving me mad with these! - 89 Mk1 Auto Clipper Cabrio

Hi Guys,

It would be a huge relief and an instanct headache removal if someone on here had an idea what the attached, unconnected cable are for/from.

The car runs great now TBH as I have spent most of the lockdown weeks repairing the cluster and replacing most earths are the car, a couple of fractured/broken wires (one on the drives side side lamp and one which appeared to be shorting under the auto shifter cover, once repaired solved a chunk of random power issues and brought back to life the illumination on the selector). They probably are no longer required but for me its just a piece of mind thing!

Thanks in advance guys

Cut cable, yellow in colour within the same look as the seņor on the side of the block

Two cables to the rear of the stereo in scotch locks the grey/blue I believe to be the illumini=ation line for an old headhunt, the yellow with a white band I have no clue!

Lastly this rascal, its around a metre long and appears to be a black and brown two core with connector within a grey sheathing??

The 3rd picture, the long wire is for the heated windscreen washer jets. I guess someone has changed your washer jets for the none heated ones…
