Afternoon Folks. I'm about to embark on the repair/light restoration of my Golf. I bought it with accident damage to the front off side, and will require a replacement front panel, bonnet, wing and the end section of the inner wing. Fortunately the car came with all parts mentioned from a donor car, which I'm guessing is a later cabrio. My question is, are the panels all compatible with my Sept 1979 1.5 model. The VW Heritage site has thrown me a bit as their compatibility dates are not always that clear. Many thanks.
