Cabrio rear seat release (bowden) cable

Post

Hi,
could anyone please post a pic of how the bowden cable attaches to the sprung release plate at the back of the rear seats?
Existing one is bent and wrapped round, I have a new cable with the loop at the end but no idea how it should connect, I'm assuming not like this:

Assuming it uses the slot on the right hand side but don't understand how.

Thanks,

Chris.

Sorry for the thousands of pic's of a Cabby, I don't have a pic of it, but the ETKA has a clue. Screen Shot 2023-05-05 at 2.43.01 PM.png

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

Thanks Brian, I can access ETKA but still unsure how it connects - the loop in the end of the cable is too small to go around the piece of the bracket at the rear of the slot I believe and if it does I'm unsure how to get it in there without straightening and re-bending it..

That's perfect Mark, thanks very much. Looks so simple when you see it but I scratched my head for ages..
