Mk1 head on a 1984 engine

I bought a 1984cc engine and was supplied with dizzy collar and gear. I was told the compression ratio would be okay. Is this correct?
 

I fitted my std 8v dx head onto a tall block bottom end. No issues at all in terms of compression/ performance
