Polo GT cam or head on 1.3GF engine

Hi guys,

Is possible to fit cam from 3F Polo GT engine to my GF 1.3 Golf engine? As i know that the GT head is hydro, and my head is mechanical. I don't bother about mechanical fuel pump, as it would definitely be bike carbed with electrical pump. If it's not possible, is possible to throw up whole GT head on to a GF bottom? I can buy whole 3F GT engine for a bargain, whole engine swap will be definitely the right way, but I want to stay legal, and also I like the original look of GF engine, so I trying some possibilities.

nope. the hydro head/cam is different fitment to early solid lifter engines. just put the whole engine in if possible. even bettwe when combined with mk3 golf 1.4 bottom end

Thanks 😉 yes I know about ABD 1.4 bottom + 3F GT head conversion 😉 I think its best option of a short block. I wanted to stay legal etc., But last week I bought another one Golf, so we will see 😉
