how much for a 1300 hk engine?

hi as u lot know my 1300 mk1 engine went bang yesturday been looking for a replacment engine i've found two companys who can get me on and one of them wants ?145 and the other wants ?180.
Now too me that seems very very expensive jst for a carb 1300 you can pick polo gt lumps up with every for a lot less then that! so ideally how much am i looking to pay for a hk 1300 engine i thought no more than ?100 as i dnt need the box carb or even the altonator!
