Hi guys, a quick one, I've fitted my 1.6 Engine in to my Cab and it seems to have had electronic ignition, as the loom is all there. My question is, is it easy enough to fit the wiring loom for the electronic ignition or should i revert to the standard?
Would love it if you could help!

I would ask if that is the engine out of the car originally or a new to you engine. And was the engine that you originally had Electronic Diz or old timey.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

Hi, it's not the original engine that was in the car, the old had standard ignition.

what engine did it have before? if it was points you probably have purple/white resistance wire from the fusebox to the coil. if so this needs to be replaced with a fresh wire as it wont supply enough voltage for the electronic ignition coil.  apart from that its rpetty much straight swap, may need to adapt a few wires for length if say it was a 1.3 before
