lowring my car!!

Post

something to help the camber.

I have a mk1 golf and had it lowered last year on coil overs….the problem I have is the car was sat on 13" mini lights.and the camber on the front was wayyyy to bad and caused my tires to go bald on the inside wall
.i set my camber and toe at work on the tracking machine.but I couldn't adjust the camber enough with just the normal camber adjusting bolts.so I set it to the best it would go…but it barely even helped because I still had a lot of negative camber…any help as to what I need would be much appreciated.thank you…..

Did you try to adjust it with the wheels on the floor / ramp.
its near impossible as when turning that bolt your really trying to move the car rather than the hub
(all the weight of the car pushes the opposite way your trying to adjust)
i jack the front end up and adjust then put back down, rock the car to try and settle the suspension then recheck.
if needed a full check and tweak after that
