Caliper removal

is it possible to remove the brake caliper & pads ect from the car without undoing the Guide pins?

i have a 89 cab, (kelsey Haynes) setup but have a broken guide pin so need to drill this out, obviously going to be mush easier to do without it being on the car, but not sure if its possible to remove the whole lot

Can you reach the bolts for the caliper carrier? You should be able to wedge something in and back off the pads (cylinder) a little once its loose, because you can jiggle the caliper/carrier around.

u can do it just about! done it to my mates cabby a while back as his where all rounded. it is a tight squeeze and abit time consuming but is doable.
