85 cab gti gearbox

Hi People,

A week after getting my cab the diff has locked up.
I've almost got the box off but whats the best way about going for a replacement? What exactly fits including the electrical sender etc?
Do mk2 boxes fit?

Yep Mk2 will fit , but if you need a replacement box first PM crazyquiff or  scouse [user names ] on here they break cars and will be able to help . You should have no problem with all the bits fitting
