Ford anglia 1947

Howdy folks, I'm gonna paint this for my mate it's his dads . I'm not sure about what I need to do as regards sealing it after I rub it down . All the metal work has been done on the car so it needs priming, guide coating  then  finish vat . It's being painted with 2 k direct gloss . Do I just put an epoxy sealer on it then start from there
