Bonnet Catch Spring & Wiper wash part

As I am aware from googling this issue it has made it apparent that this has happened to a fair few of us in the past.

To keep it short, my bonnet won't shut. The return spring has 'magically' disappeared I'm really trying to get hold of one rather than having to replace the whole thing.#

Secondly the part that connects to the underside of the bonnet and the tubing for the wiper wash has split. This is causing ,limited, if not any spray to the windscreen.

If anyone can help me out would be appreciated.

My catch return spring broke a long while ago but I've been using something else successfully for years. It's one of the strong long springs you get in a brake shoe fitting kit (Mine was from a Mk1 kit I had spare). I've pulled it right the way across to the left and hooked it through the slam panel in a little hole that already exists. Just an idea (I imagine finding the correct catch spring on its own is a tall order)
