Hi every one i just bought a 1980 1.1 golf .I'ts an island car with lots of history interior is as new .body needs tidy up and problem with wipers.but shes mot'd and drives ok

Sorry to disappoint you but the ?free? car tax was frozen at 1973 when new labour came in. :x Still being an 1100 it will still be better than paying the GTI full fat price. :wink:
