Hi all…..I've found this nice site while looking for some info regarding my car. I must greet you all for such a nice site…!!!
My name is Artie. I'm 39 years aold and I'm from Tenerife, the Canaries. I'm the proud owner of a nice '82 Golf GTi MkI, 1.6cc in silver colour.
I've been a long time "old cars" lover, and I fact I own a few more "oldies". But now is time to speak Golf, so let's do it.
Here you are a few pics of my little Rabbit. I hope you'll like them.

By the way, not much rust here, except for some cars by the seaside….

Hi, Sam…I've already been there, indeed…!!! You'd be very surprised If I would tell you that I prefer british weather. I really hate hot sun and dusty air from Africa every summer.
I use to travel to England every year for my holydays, and like your country very much (except those horrible cheese and onion sandwiches they sell at the airport  :twisted:  :twisted: )..

your golf looks in great condition. I have only ever seen cabriolets in tenerife and lanzarote when on holiday  I take it there arent many hatchbacks?

Just me sunshine over cold wet windy winter days. Winter is just too long, this is a perfect time of year - new plants coming through and SUN!!!
