GTi Fesival _ Sunday 9th of July

Come to the 2006 GTi Festival-
for the show that's dubbed the coolest!
Why the coolest? Ask anyone, it just is. For the past decade, thousands of visitors to the Gti Festival have sampled the laid back atmosphere and enjoyed being treated like adults.

The show is about giving all water-cooled VW enthusiasts an opportunity to meet like-minded people, whilst in some way indulging their interest.

Maybe by sprinting or maybe by watching the sprints. Some will come to show their cars, others to look at the show cars. Some will just come to spend, spend, spend, at the trade stands.

Why ever you come, just come. And enjoy!

Will prob go along as not far from me. Might even be tempted to have a go in the stock Sprint class to see how mine fairs up against other peoples.

I take it there's no club stand, but who's going? I was planning to have my GTI MoT'd for this meet, but I got mixed up and thought it was next weekend, not this one…. Still might go in the other car, its a bit of a trek from Cheshire though….

ill be there and sprinting dont like the idea of natural asperated and force inducted in the same mk1 class though :cry:
 
perhaps ill pick some bits up for 20 vt conversion

A mate of mine who went in his G60 mk1 had all the centre caps stolen from his BBS RMs they were a purple/black colour if you see 'em  

8O  can't trust people at vw show who can you trust, will keep an eye out, probably be on ebay soon, not seen any purple centre caps before. scum who nicked them want beating and beating again !

I just can't understand, I mean for gods sake every one who goes to these shows is supposed to be an enthuiast :dontknow: so why nick some ones hard work that they've made the effort to bring to the show so every one can enjoy looking at it. makes me sick
BTW they are closest in colour to the edition 1 mk2 g60 paint, but will most likely end up resprayed and on e-bay    

i cant see somone nicking them to sell on, don't get me wrong that may be the case :dontknow:  more likely they end up on his car  

bring him down to my karate club for a free lesson  8O  :twisted:

My dustcaps got stolen of my cab in the show and shine area,not the most expensive item in the world.
Some people seriously need to get a life :evil:

Sorry to hear bout the loss but i had a great day did my first sprint down the track followed by 5 other runs didnt even get to see any show an shine but really enjoyed it MUST DO BETTER NEXT YEAR.
