Where can I buy a Baffled sump from?

Does any one know where I can buy an of the shelf baffled sump?

I know they are probably easy to make and I know TSR sell bits you can weld into your existing sump.

I've heard you can get high quality chambered aluminium sumps but from where???? :dontknow:

I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday :D

The 16S ran one.

You can make them easily enough - have a look at www.guy-croft.com for some guidance - there are a couple of pics on there of a big wing baffled sump I'm sure.

Well I don't want to wreck my new engine when it gets dropped in. Might do the odd track day

I got mine from Germany, it was around ?145 all in inc postage and customs. I think the sump itself was around ?110.00 - ?120.00 depending on the exchange rate.  Look at this german site that sells them. ?BAR-TEK® Motorsport ? Dein Spezialist für professionelles Motortuning. Change the language to engish them search Schrick.

This is the best you can buy.

Many thanks

One of my mates absolutley trashed the fireblade engine in his kit car at Brands Hatch last summer because he didn't have a baffled sump. He managed to stick one of the pistons through the side of the block.  :banghead:
