MK4 polo 16v 1.6 in a mk1

was at elsecar today and i saw a lovely yellow mk1 with a mk polo 16v engine in on webers

was wodering what i would need to do and what certian parts i would need e.g drive shafts, gearbox, electrics
any information would be handy
plus the engine mounts on small block are in the right place too
also i would probs be running it on carbs or bike carbs

spen on clubpolo did it. his son is redsquare on there, worth asking them or heg123 on there. only thing different from a regular gt conversion in a small block mk1 is the front gb mount, you need a hybrid of the polo and golf mounts

most the questions that have been said on ther ei have awnsers too
but to abit of confusemesnt it siad not to use a 16v flywheel in your thread but on edtion a lad told me to use a 16v one

well thats easily sorted just make sure u have both then wen it comes to it its onli like 5 bolts to change it

lad off edition says to USE  16v one as the polo ones do not work with the 16v starter motor
