Life without a scuttle

Ok so with the scuttle gone I'd like to make up some kind of fresh air feed for the heater.I was thinking of maybe fibreglassing over the original cover and including an opening at the side that I can attach a pipe to and run along the skuttle out to behind the wing by cutting a hole out. I have seen a box made up tht seals against the bonnet to the louvres but I think that would just end up collecting water. Basically just wanted to see if there were any other ideas out there as I was originally going without a heater but I've changed my mind now haha.

i have the same problem, was thinking bout suing the origional piping for the dash but adding an inlet pipe the same way, through the inner wing near the fuse box, cant go the other way as i have a bias pedal box inplace.

what heater were u thinking of using?

the other way is to get a heated windscreen, cost about 200-250.

Put the scuttle back ?

Dont be silly, took me ages to get a knife edge across the shelf lol
