16v Servo & MC upgrade

In the technical section, theres good instructions on how to do the 16v servo and MC upgrade. My question is this, on the 4-outlet MC, why has he blocked 2 and used it with just 2-outlets?

My Mk1 cabby's original MC is 4-outlet and I bought the G60 MC from GSF which is also 4-outlet, so can't I just plug the existing lines into it?

I've read in other places that the mk2 16v MC is only two-outlet which is why t-pieces are required. Because I have the 4-outlet MC, have I overcome this?

Apart from that, everything else should be fine to do.

What engine do you have and where is your dizzy?

i believe that if you have a 16v engine then you need to block off 2 of the outlets so it clears the dizzy. otherwise it will foul.
however if you have a standard engine i see know reason why it cant just be a straight swap as you already have no clearance issues, i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong. :)

I have a 8v GTi engine (standard on my gti cabby). The standard MC at the moment has 4 outlets with no clearence issues, so I can put the brakes lines into the 4 outlets of my 22mm MC without issues right?

Do you have a brake light switch on the master cylinder too, in which case you'd need to use a T piece and incorporate it into your plumbing too?
