A few weeks ago Top Gear said you cant fit a garden rose arch in a MK1 Golf GTi  :?

So this weekend we went to the very same garden centre "Dobbies" in Preston to show how it can be done
there is better video of this, but here is what Mrs A5OPY took on her little camera.

Next year we're gonna try and get Dano's car to the top of Blackpool Tower bit by bit then rebuild it!!! :eek:

I like him… and he likes mk1's… don't show him it in case they feature a mk1 getting crushed like the Morris Marina episode  8O …. that car was crap mind.

I'm sure they'll appreciate the 'homage' to the episode and you never know we may get a mention in the next series  :pray:

I'm sure next year's re-assembly of Dano's cab at the top of the tower will  8O

Top gear didn't TRY and get it in a tintop at all we got it in a mk1 golf GTi like they said you couldn't, no one said anything about it having to have a roof  and it was a bit of fun and we had a laugh we promoted the Club in a good way to the crowd that was there.

i like the Dano's car top of the Tower idea, might not be as daft as it seems :wink:
