TRESER Golf?

Hi, I've got a 1985 Golf GTI Cabriolet with Treser logos front & back. No idea if it has any significance for the car, nothing odd-looking under the bonnet at least. Anyone know anything about Treser working with Golfs? I'd like to know a little more about what these mean, if anything? Simon

I'd guess at it being a sticker that someone's fitted rather than a edition.

German tuning company founded by Walter treser. Used to race in the 70's and then went into vehicle tuning/modification. Mainly Audi by the looks of it. 
Thought I'd heard that name somewhere before.

By the looks of some of their body mods, I'd be happy that yours has only got the stickers on it! haha. You never know though, you may have a slightly fettled engine in there, but unless you take it apart or have any invoices you wont know.
