The Citi Golf

Hi guys

i was just wondering if anyone here owns a citi golf?  I am very curious about them, and was wondering just how much they share with the original golf?  obviously the engine and interior are different but what could you chop and change between the two, and what 'mk1 golf' parts would fit the citi?
any info would be cool
