I almost dumped them for trying to rob me, but gave them one more chance…

The MK1 on 3k policy with allthe mods declared, fully comp protected is around ?250 which I thought was pretty good.
We also have a Seat Ibiza on a 1998 plate. So I've just plugged the details thru esure.com using 9 yrs NCB, protected no claims, 4k miles a year policy so in essence the same as the MK1 and it spat a figure out at me of ?220 a year ?!?!?!? Bizzarre as I thought that they loaded older cars like the MK1 as its diffcult to repair where as newer cars are easier.
The A4 Avant on an 02 plate with unlimited mileage, 4 years NCB on Business class use you would expect to thru the roof but I get that doien for ?550 a year with all the usual bits n bobs. ?!?!!?!
Insurnace in my mind is just STRANGE !!!!! :? :?
Just thought I would let you all know that soemtimes it seems a bit weird and there is no logic in what or how it gets priced in my opinion.
