Insurance Help!!!
Im 22, driving for 4 years, no claims, convictions, points etc. 3 years car no claims, 1 year van no claims.
I want to have classic insurance on the golf, and have normal insurance on a daily
I can get insured on normal insurance for £700 on the golf but then i wont be able to get a daily run about
ive got a few names of companys for classic insurance from searching through the forum this is what ive got:
Adrian Flux:
£925 a yeear
Footman James:
Got to be 25 to get classic insurance
Peter Best:
Got to be 25 to get classic insurance
Performance Direct:
Got to be 25 to get classic insurance
and im waiting for a call back from Landcaster Insurance
So its not looking good
Can anyone else name any other companys that are worth giving a call?? If i cant get classic insurance i will probaly sell the golf because i dont want to drive it daily especially through the winter, and i really dont wanna sell!!!
Any help would be much appriciated!
Cheers
Scott

Unfortunatly its a case of phoning all firms you know.
One thing I learnt is that what might be good for someone dont mean it will be good for you.

I did eventually get a classic car quote with Peter James which was good.
Also make sure you tell them you are part of a club, dont go off what the websites say. Look on the internet get a list of companies that do classic car policies and ring them up.
As it says on Peter James' website that they dont do classic car policies for under 25 but because i was part of a club they did insure me.

I've had to phone everyone beacause we are not getting Internet installed til Thursday so I can't check any compare websites or spend ages trawling google cus I've already gone over my Internet allowance
and marcus I phoned peter James same old same old "not til your 25" but I'll speak to them again and mention this club, don't think I did first time round :dontknow:
