No Spark Mk1

Hello All👋,
I recently bought a project golf but I just don't know what to do anymore.

I bought the golf as a non runner, is was an 1.4i fuel injection, the computer box popped and the incompetent mechanic buggered everything up, we decided to just take it to carb and leave the headaches with the computer box behind…

So what we ended up doing was, removing the Fuel injection manifold and replacing it with a Carb and manifold for it, replaced the wiring harness from the hall sender on the distributor, replaced the distributor itself, the TP100 and replaced the bougi cords and some other minor TLC's that needed attention…

Now the problem is, when I turn the key I get only an single spark from the coil pack and nothing else, does anyone know what to do next to get it running🙈?
