Regarding the method to install a bypass switch
Hello all, I am looking at bypassing my Thermotime Switch so that I may control the CSV myself. Ive read of numerous ways to do this and the one that I would like to do as it is the least destructive is removing the existing connection plug into the CSV and replace it with one that I have made on my own. I would like to connect the negative pin on the CSV to the negative terminal on the battery and have the positive pin of the CSV attached to the positive terminal on the battery with a momentary switch breaking up the connection in the cabin. When I was testing the functionality of the CSV valve I did this, minus the momentary switch, and it worked fine, so I cant see a problem in doing it this way? Please advise if this is a safe way to successfully bypass the TTS. Thank you.
