Really weird electrical problems

Post

Im in the middle of 1.8T swap. -83 1.6 Carb, CE1 fusebox.
Just re-installed my other wiring loom to the car - the one with yellow plug for headlights etc.
I dont have other white plug loom at the moment as I sended it out to be converted.
After installing other loom I tested things out and im getting REALLY weird electrical problems.

For example what i noticed :

Headlights, park lights, rear lights, brake lights, reverse lights, radio, cigarette lighter and honk works just fine.

- Blower not working at all.
- Rear wiper not working at all.
- Washer pump not working at all.
- Indicators not working one at the time at all, only getting solid green led on dash.
- Hazard lights not working normally. They only work if lights are on and blower is set to 1, 2 or 3.
- Lights left on buzzer not working as it should. It buzzes for example if lights are off and blower is set to 1, 2 or 3. Also buzzes if lights are off, blower set to 0 and pulling washer pump stalk.
- Aftermarket gauges work only if lights are off and blower set to 0. They also go on if hazards are on and blower set to 0.

This thing is nuts. Everything worked just fine when I pulled this apart and only thing I find different is the fact that Im missing that other loom right now.

Could this be related to the fact that engine loom is missing ?
Poor ground somewhere ? Wires shorting somewhere ?

All fuses seem ok, cleaned up some ground spots etc this far without any difference.

Any tips much appriciated.

Yes you're missing the ground to the fuse box D22 white plug pin 22.  Anything with a relay probably won't work including blower because your load reduction relay won't be working.
