New Fuel Tank - Where do the tank side pipes go

The car is a 1987 UK Cab 1.8 GTi

I've fitted the new tank but I did not take photo's of the connections.  I can only identify the fuel pump(B)  and the regulator (A).  I do not know what the other (C) component is or how they all should be routed.  I have a haynes manual but is image of the GTI fuel system does not seem to be the correct one.

Would anyone be able to help me on this one?

It appears that on the front cover of my Haynes it does not reference the cabriolet only the 'Golf and Jetta'.

Would you or anyone else have the appropriate schematic or just advise in what order they are connected from the tank to the filter?

I have 2 pipes that I cannot find where they go.  The ones coming out of the swirl pot currently just visible to the left of the pump.
