Need some assistance please on the following matters:
FRONT FOG LIGHTS or TWIN LIGHTS
When I purchased my car 8 years back, Campaign edition, I noticed that the front only had the single headlights and missing the twin lights. I purchased a centre grill with twin lamps as the attached picture shows, however I do not know how to wire them. Do these lights operate as fog lights or full beam? If they are full beam, then I have found a supply and can wire them accordingly, however if they are Fog Lights, then I don't have a clue. Can you please advise and provide a wiring diagram & pictures please? Also if fog lights, do I need to get a different fog light switch?
REAR FOG LIGHTS
Don't have a clue why these do not work. I checked the fuses etc and all fine. Noticed that there is no supply to teh rear fog bulb. Also checked the fuse for the fog lights and noticed there is no supply there either. Appreciate any assistance on this matter.
Thanks

For the meanwhile I will wire it up to the full beams and try to source fog lights if they are available. However, it still would be good to know how to wire fog lights in case I get hold of some.
Rear fog lights is still an issue…..

What would be the part number for the original front fog lights which are meant to be fitted to the campaign edition?

Any idea where to try to get hold of genuine Hella fogs for the Campaign?

The white wire off the main light powers the fogs.
The Brown wire is the ground.
How I relayed mine, 2 and 3 relay configuration, the 3 relays allow your hi(fog) to shine with the low beam hi, and the low beam low.
There are relay kits on ebay for sale, but not the 3rd relay kit.

Resolved.
So the existing front twin lights, wired them up to full beam. Will look at original fogs later on or may buy aftermarket Hellas to fit below bumper.
Ref the rear fogs, the culprit was the fog light switch. Disassembled it and found a thin plate was missing which slides across the contacts. Managed to find a plate, I had a spare headlight switch, the plate was compatible with the fog light switch. Now rear fogs work

So I couldn't source original fogs, absolute pain to find. I wired up the centre driving lamps which work ok with full beam.
So I went for the next best affordable thing and bought some Hella Comet fog lamps to put under the bumper as shown in pic below.
So the kit comes with wiring and relay, but deciding whether to wire to the existing double pole fog light switch fitted to the instrument panel or should I just stick the to flick switch which came with the hella kit.
I don't really want to drill a hole for a switch.
If I was to wire to the existing double pole switch, how would I do this? Any tips are much appreciated. Note: the Hella fogs come with its own relay.
Thanks.

Also dont have a rear fog being in the USA, but planning to wire one in because they are useful in the bad weather (torrential rain). Anybody don't that before? Is it easy to do?

So how did this go? Are there special things to be aware of?
I had bought myself the same Hella kit a few years ago. I mounted the lights but never took the effort to effectively wire them …
So today was the big day … Not…
I went in the garage and searched for the box with the relay and all but could not find it unfortunately.
So now I'm going to buy a relay tomorrow (what type do I need?) and a gray white cable, because if I've done my research correctly that's the original color code for front fog lights. And I think I will wire it through the original switch.
Is it correct that the first position of the switch is the front lights and the second position ads the rear fog light too?
By the way, the picture above could be mine … It looks EXACTLY the same
Cheers

I like the way you closed the gap between the bumper and fogs….I need to do the same to hide the ugly bracket.
It's some time ago I installed the fogs……I purchased a wiring loom kit (with relays for headlights and fogs) from eBay as the original design of running lights direct through the switch is not great as you put a load on the switch causing it to burn plus the lights are dimmer. Since running through relays, my lights do appear brighter.
I used the original fog light switch to turn my Hella fogs on….my car did not have the front fog connections to the switch and there was an empty slot in the connector ….I ran the wires to it and managed to slide in the connector into the connector.
Or the simple option is to fit the switch which came with the Hella kit. I tried to keep mine original as possible and not fond of drilling my interior.
I am out at the moment, back in the UK next week. Will take pics of the connections, relays and switch if it helps.

Hi There,
Yes, I made my own brackets and connected them directly to the bumper supports. Didn't want to drill holes in my original bumpers
I want to do exactly the same. My car is also originally without front fogs. So now I'm going to try to wire them via the original switch via a relay.
Didn't had the opportunity to go to the store yet, but will try today. I hope they have what I need, so I can start wiring them up.

Wow, guess that will make quit the difference indeed, all filaments and +2volt bump! Who needs LED headlights anyway
Thanks for sharing the schema!

Can I add the new relay to the original connector board?
I thought I read somewhere that originally it is on position 7.
I guess it will be straightforward at the backside where I need to connect the corresponding 12v power and the power line towards the lights for position 30 and 87 of the relay?
Or would it be better to keep the relay separated from the board?
