Clicking/Knocking sound when accelerating

Doesn't sound healthy

Hello from Sweden!

As the title says my Golf Mk1 1.8 are making a knocking/clicking sound when I accelerate on high revs or
when I push the throttle pedal hard when the engine is under load (low revs).

The ignition has been adjusted and the noise has not changed at all, so probably nothing to do with that.

There's also another chirping / squeking sound when I press the clutch pedal (when the engine is warm).
I have tried to put 5-56/WD40 inside the cam belt tensioner without any success.

What could the issues be?
Could any of these sounds have something to do with the cam belt or the cam belt tensioner?

Thanks in advance!
