Bonnet /washer jet

So ive got a new bonnet to fit but noticed that the washer jet is in a different location.
Not a big problem just curious 
Old one has a slot between vents
New one has a round hole infront of them.

It's just a difference between early and late bonnets,

The 'sleeker' ones are from the later cars and the 'sticky up' ones are from earlier cars
