Whats wrong with all you mk1 owners
Generaly if you say somthink that somone else doesn't agree with or your talking bollucks then people will just ignore the fact you've ever posted and carry on…
Your all to blame.. You old ones for thinking and exspresing your feeling where you think your right on a subject, strecthed tyres for example… If you don't like them then thats your problem.. leave the young ones to do as they want and just ignore the fact that they are somtimes talking out there arses. If you argue with who is right and who is wrong then thats going to cause arguments isn't it… Have your say ONCE and then leave it at that.. If what you say first doesn't work then then your wasting your time just because somone doesnt belive you doesn't make you wrong.. u dont need to prove yourself
The young bods… why do you care if the old people on hear don't like streched tyres smoothed door handles driving fast ect. Theres always going to be a difference in what people think.. If they don't like what yours saying then just ignore them and the fourm will run smooth

I am neither young or old!! (Depends on what you call young/old)…….28!
Does this mean I cant ever comment on anything as I am an inbetweener????
Must admit when this forum first started there was some really good banter, still there sometimes though, It is sometimes too serious now. Always helpful though.
Bring back the laughter!

Don't understand this at all..
Different forums have different atmospheres mate that's a good thing!
Yes sometimes things can get out of hand but that's down to the poster and not the car he drives, his date of birth or the forum url. I think what you've done is in the main designed to be positive and highlight a perceived issue with one or two members which is fine but I'm afraid stereotyping is always going to be a mistake.
BTW I'm ruddy old mate and I like stretched tyres and driving fast.

also in really hot days, with the sweat, if you keep your windows closed, you have your very own personal sauna to help shift a pound or 2
so who has the last laugh there

sat in traffic yesterday the sun was blazing i had the roof down music playing ah happy days
look like a panda today tho
back to the original question i think theres a real love for the mk1 here which does make it seem hard when you have people wanting stretch and people that like a nice mint and original mk1
i like a nice mk1 standard even tho my cabby is modified but then im getting old.
plus forum banter does get taken out of proportion some what we all like a laugh dont we

Think the answer to this thread and other recent threads has to be.. 'If you don't like the forum or the way its run.. sod off' simple as that.

Difficult to find fault with that.

Perhaps they should look internally first at their own keyboard warriors present on these sites before commenting on others
There goes my log-in for other places.

and with a site of this size there will always be people who dnt get on with others and there will always be comments made and others just looking for an arguement
why make personal attacks on people just coz u dislike them ?
sounds a lil unhinged
dnt have anything nice or constructive to say ,then shut up

Have your say say once but theres no need to leave nuff posts trying to prove your right or somone else is wrong.. Just a difference in opion… some people need relise that some people may think differenly to them and accept it
