tatton park this weekend

is anyone going to the classic car show this coming Saturday/sunday..I`ll be there, unfortunately not in the golf though

went to tatton today,saw only two mk1s there, black one in the `car park` and one inside the show, a nice pale blue clipper which had  mk1oc sticker and tax disc holder…WAS IT YOU ?…if so I got a couple of pics if you`d like me to put them up ?

I saw the blue cab today and the black tin top (fantastic car). Went with the wife in the Hyundai.

Ahhh,yeah good to see local too. no sorry im not sure who owns either. I just drove past the blue cabby. The black tin top was a private entry,had mk1 golf owners club card in the window. Made my interior look like a taxis.

The black tin top in the private entry area was mine. I was there on the sunday only. It was my first outing in the car for nearly three years, having been working in Germany for a while.

It was a rush to get it Mot'd in time but it sailed through with just a couple of advisories.

I was parked up between a 1938 Alvis and a Corvette Stingray, but the best was that I got 1st place in the Best 1980s Saloon Car category.Dave
