little pic thingys

ok i need a little computer help..how do i get a little pic to come up under my name like you lot have!?? from a photo on my computer?! if anyone can talk my kinda computer language id be very grateful   :dontknow:

They're called 'Avatars!'

Go to your profile page and you can upload a pic. There is a size limit. From memory it is 80x80 pixels and there's a kb limit to - it will tell you on the page.

hmm..i have all that bit up on the screen..lol. gives u 3 different choices of where to get pic from..which one do i want?

Depends, I presume you have a pic on your PC you want to use yeah? If you do you will prob need to resize it and then upload it with the second option. If you need it resizing I can do that for you?

yeh, ive made sure its the right size etc. and even put it in photobucket incase i needed to use it from there..

Ah got ya… You need to choose "Upload Avatar from your machine:" then select the pic from the directory on your PC it should upload from there.

As he says or copy & paste the photobucket picture URL into the box for the 3rd option

That's strange,  I'm sure it's within the required sizes and it looks ok when I'm viewing  :dontknow:
