Gone in less than 120 seconds

I've been very busy lately so I've had no time to post until now.

I took my MK1 out this morning for a run to the Supermarket and the Police was giving away Pro stoplocks for cars for 5 quid (50 pounds worth in Halfords) in the car park, it looked a bargain so I took one off his hands
I asked him how long would it take for a pro to nick my car with the stop lock and my alarm on, he said "it would be gone in less than 120 seconds"8O

0.5 seconds to break into the golf 119.5 seconds to take the stoplock off!  

Whats wrong with 2 minutes anyway? 120 seconds shish! :roll:

I can't see how a pro can get through the cat1 alarm, with laser key and have the stoplock off in less than 2 minutes, seems impossible to me.
