anybody use elsawin 3.50?

any tips on using it? I need to look at a few different models to compare parts and fitting but seen to have trouble getting to look at the car that I want without the chassis number. doesn't happen all the time bit its a right PIA to use!! am i missing something, or should I get a newer version? or is this the best it gets?!cf_emoticons__BangHead:mark

If the car is in elsa you should be able to look at it regardless of the vin. How old is the car you are trying to look at i had the same problem with elsa pro if the cars too old the information wont be on elsa as the information would have been on book manuals rather than elsa and they didnt really seem to transfer it over.

trying to look at 83 golf and a 94 golf but seem to struggle getting the boxes filled in in the search function as I need engine and gearbox codes. which I put in but have to guess the gearbox codes!!!!

i'm not too computer savvy if im honest, I installed and reinstalled it 5 times before it worked!!

If im unsure of the gearbox code i just usually guess till i find one that works whats the actual poblem you are having. Does it not go forward to the next screen where the manual should be or does elsa win tell you there is a problem

think ive sorted it now! I took your advice and kept guessing at gearbox codes takes a bit of getting used to tho! can you look at 2 different models at once? or can I save a page somewhere to compare 2 models?

Ah thats good to hear. And no you have to look at one at a time or try and screenshot it.
