VW Wolsey Ipswich

Popped into my local GSF in Ipswich yesterday to get some oil and filters and and interior light. As they only had crappy patern lights thought I'd try the VW dealer (Wolsey) round the corner. Have usually avoided the VW dealers in North Essex such as Grogans and Lind as in my expreince  they not interested unless your there to buy a new car. Also found they don't employ the most knowledable staff (a friend spent 15 minutes trying to convince a parts bloke at Grogans in Chelmsford that Lhasa green was a VW coulor - he keept insisting 'never heard of it mate, you must mean laser green'!)

Anyway found parts bloke at VW Wolsey Ipswich was very helpful and patient and located and has ordered me a genuine interior light, handbrake grip and clip, black wheel nut covers for 9 spokes and some metal clips for the airbox. I didn't realise that half this stuff was still avaiable as genuine parts. The interior light is only ?2 more that the GSF one!

I'd advise Wolsey over any VW dealer in North Essex/East Suffolk area. Think I am going to go there first in future rather than GSF.
