Could someone help with accelerator cable please?

I had to have a new carb fitted to my '82 1.1 GolfC

The instructions say 'Dellorto' 'FRDC 32 B' 'implant 19.118'

The person fitting it for me was able to fit the carb (which I got from Crazy Quiff's), I dont think it was a straight swap but it is done now, however I need to find an accelerator cable.

Apparently the cable needs to have a hook at both ends, the mechanic and I had a look through vwheritage and couldn't find anything that would suit.

Can someone point me in the right direction or let me know what I need to do.
