Can't help you on the problem but the black and chrome bumpers are great.

Are the bumpers original or have you replaced them? If so where from cause loads of people on here are after a set!!

Good luck with your problem

Either your pump is faulty or you have a major air lock , next time it happens whip off the fuel cap and try again . If you here a big rush of air check your tank breather .

Looks good keep us posted ………

I had a similar problem. It was rust in the fuel tank. You can fix temporarily by blowing down the fuel line from the tank. Undo the pipe at the filter under the bonnet and blow back into the tank till you hear bubling in the petol filler, you need a mate to listen for you.

Its usually the fuel filler neck that rusts and deposits rust in the tank. As you drive the rust gets stuck to the filter in the tank and blocks the flow of petrol.  Some people remove the filter in the petrol tank by first removing the sender unit at the top of the tank to gain acces to it then break it off. You need to remove the back seat first though. Then you can just ensure you change the inline filter in the engine compartment at regular intervals say once a year.

Hope this helps you.

i don't have a cab - it's a hardtop. but just found the filter in the fuel pump (tank side). full of crud. cleaned it out and the car is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better. so much so it's like a new car!
