New auxillary belt time?
Ordered new belt and bushing from VW and fitted both. Not only has it sorted out the squeak but the car actually ticks over properly sewing machine style. I figure what was happening was that at low revs the belt was going slack, less current to power my lights etc, drop in tickover, which in turn means less current, etc etc…
Also, changing the belt on my new DRIVEWAY (still enjoying that) gave me the chance to listen to the girls sat on my wall talking about so and so's mum who said she was gonna smack wassername in the club on Friday, and what about that vicki pollard who smoked a whole bag in week! blah etc.
Ahhh, youth of today.
