mfa abbient temp dissapeared

heres a weird 1!!

my MFA read out works fine but when cycling through the different readings it misses out the last 1 (abbient temp.)

not a clue what can cause this, at a guess i'd say maybe the temparature reader thing is broke/disconnected would this cause this to happen?

any ideas? any1 know where it is on the car?

Its in the front bumper I believe..

The mrs cabby does the same.
Did yours use to work ?
I have not been able to find the sender in the front bumper, it is a sportline so I have assummed that the sender is in the same place as the small bumper tin tops.
Perhaps one day I will remove the dash again and trace the wiring.

Can you find the sender in your bumper ?
If so where about is it ?
If not where is it located ? Anyone know ?

ah balls, new bumper fitted! crap, i bet garage didnt swap it,

had my head inside and cant see anything, any1 know which side or where the wiring runs thru the engine bay to it?

found the plug, but nothing to plug it to, oh well at least it's solved now.

will order the two from vw on monday.

been reading a load of  threads today about different stuff and saw abt buzzing fuel pumps n thought, at least mine ain't that bad…. GUESS WAT TURNED THE CAR AROUND TO GET TO BUMPER AND MINES BUZZING LIKE A BEE HIVE!!!!!

1 problem sorted another arises!!! you have to love theses cars haha!!!

VAG PART IS 19.50 +vat and 3.50 for the bracket, any1 know if i can get 1 else where cheaper?

its a lot to spend when i can just put my hand out of the window to see how warm it is!!!
