Heater Problems / Reversing lamps...

Hi guys, 2 problems…

1.  My heater only blows when turned to "1" but not on 2 or 3? any idea how to solve this?

2.  My reversing lights dont work now! i changed the fuse and the bulbs but still no joy

1.  Pop the heater switch out of the dash and check all the connections are secure and/or try replacing the switch.

2.  Again probably the switch located on top of the gearbox.  Could be  either a wire come loose or the switch has failed, quite a common problem.

hey what can i say? do ya know of any local specialist garages that undertake engine conversions? i.e 1.8T? i'm just over the river in kent

As far as typo's go that was a belter
Cant really help you on the conversion front - a route which I have never looked into, perhaps enter it into the search feature as it often comes up on here.  but if you fancy giving it a go you'll find plenty of back up on here.
